Sylvia Guarino2024-02-23This was the most beautiful property we visited while birding in the Cali area. It is a treat for the eyes, nose and ears at any time of day. In addition to the sumptuous and lush topography; it is a large property that invites long walks. It is very different from but very close in distance to the other birding sites at KM18. We stayed in one of the new cabins which is spacious and beautifully appointed with hand-crafted Colombian artifacts! The bed is extremely comfortable and the sheets and towels are of good quality. Clara and Carlos are warm and gracious hosts and pleasant dinner conversation with them and other guests makes the nicely prepared and presented meals taste even better. All of this is enhanced by the lovely indoor and outdoor dining areas. We saw some beautiful birds and got a few nice photos but San Felipe would have huge appeal even without the birds.
