Protection of Children and Adolescents

Important information for planning a smooth, safe, and worry-free stay.

San Felipe Lodge rejects the sexual exploitation, pornography, and abuse of children and adolescents in every form. Under Colombian law, a minor is any person under 18 years of age.

In accordance with Colombian law and the obligations that apply to tourism service providers, we do not tolerate:

  • The production, hosting, or distribution of images, text, or audiovisual material involving sexual activity with minors.
  • Providing information about places where sexual services involving minors are arranged or offered.
  • Transporting tourists or minors to establishments for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
  • Allowing minors to enter tourism establishments for the purpose of prostitution or sexual abuse.

Duty to prevent and report

Administrators, service providers, and users must report any known criminal conduct against minors to the appropriate authorities, take reasonable steps to combat the distribution of illegal material, and refrain from using digital networks or media to distribute it.

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and protective environment for everyone who visits or works at San Felipe.
